I was thinking about opening a small knife/scissor sharpening business. I’m located in a small town with no competition that I am aware of. I got all the equipment figured out, I just wanted to get an idea of the legal aspect for the business. Possible licenses, permits, door hanging (flyer) laws, do you have to report your earnings with tax and all that, even if the business is small enough?
